ABOUT THE GAME

Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment under its Portkey Games label, set in the late 1800s in the Wizarding World.

Hogwarts Legacy could be the long-awaited Harry Potter game, allowing players to immerse themselves in the world of the books as students at the magical school.



Hogwarts Legacy will take place in the late 1800s, before Newton "Newt" Scamander's era, as he was born in 1897. It follows a Hogwarts student.



 The player will be able to select their Hogwarts House, attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and explore an open world that includes locations such as the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Village.



 The player character will learn to cast magical spells, brew potions, tame magical beasts, and master other combat abilities in the game. The game will include a morality system. Players can also change their character's voice, body type, and whether they are a witch or a wizard.




You won't just be exploring Hogwarts because it's an open-world adventure. You'll also be able to leave the school grounds and visit "new and familiar locations," such as the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmead Village.




When it comes to the types of things you'll be doing in its open-world setting, Hogwarts Legacy is jam-packed with missions and scenarios that you'll encounter along the way. These will put your morals to the test, so it's up to you to decide how to handle each situation.



 You will not have to face all of the dangers of your journey alone; while it is a single-player experience with no multiplayer aspect that we are aware of so far, you will be able to choose companions who will assist you in facing your foes.
