ABOUT THE GAME



Remnant: From the Ashes is an action role-playing third-person shooter developed by Gunfire Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment.



 

GAMEPLAY

The player travels to a land filled with remains of a great civilization that destroyed its world to save itself from the Root. The Root is an interdimensional evil controlling the world. The Game takes place in a post-apocalyptic earth. 



The character is a wandering survivor of the apocalypse driven to put an end to the Root by traveling to a tower on an island that appears to be the epicenter of the invasion.

The game has a melee combat system and includes a third-person shooter element where the player can wield up to two gun weapons, one main weapon and one sidearm, alongside their melee weapon.




There are different types of weapons which include machine guns, shotguns, hunting rifles, sniper rifles, and other more. Gamers can also create their own characters, upgrade their weapons and armor using materials looted.

The Game also has a multiplayer which allows players to team up with up to three other players and progress through the story. If a player joins another player’s game, while the joining player will earn the same loot as the original player, once the joining player returns back to their world, they are required to progress through the story again (that’s a lot of work).
